We are quite sure you've heard about the Scrip program at Regina Coeli/St. Joseph School. The Scrip program has tremendous potential for bringing funds to our school without requiring our students to sell more items. Better yet, we make money on things we all purchase on a regular basis, for example, groceries, gas, clothing, dining out, gift giving, and entertainment. The program is as simple as exchanging your cash or checks for equal amounts of gift cards or certificates for places you regularly shop. We earn a certain percentage for all Scrip purchased, anywhere from 2 - 25%, depending on the particular retailer. Scrips are available for a wide variety of local and national stores. Most Scrips are offered in the form of gift cards. You use these prepaid cards for purchases until the balance on the card is $0.00, and then pick up another Scrip card for your next shopping trip. Scrip is available at the hallway across from the Latchkey room Monday - Friday from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. and at the church office Monday - Thursday 9:00 - 3:00 p.m. and after Masses every weekend. You can also order Scrip by using the order form found in every "Wednesday folder" and have the Scrips delivered via your student. PLEASE NOTE: ALL "SPECIAL ORDERS" FOR CHRISTMAS MUST BE PLACED BY SUNDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2006 TO ENSURE AVAILABILITY. You can print a Scrip Order Form anytime by clicking on the link on this page. There is no question that Scrip has become a permanent and major source of fundraising for our school. In fact, we are counting on your support of the Scrip program because it will help us continue to offer a reasonable priced, quality Catholic education for parishioners, as well as for non-parishoners. Remember - your "total" Scrip purchases includes total of all Scrip purchases made using your child's name. Scrip purchases made from April 30, 2006 - April 20, 2007 will earn 3% of the total toward your 2007-2008 school year tuition. You will receive a statement during the month of May that summarizes your total purchases and the amount you have earned towards your 06-07 tuition. EXAMPLE: $1,000 total Scrip purchases = $30 off tuition $5,000 total Scrip purchases = $150 off tuition $10,000 total Scrip purchases = $300 off tuition The last day to earn towards 06-07 tuition is almost here. Also, please remember - you are responsible for asking the Scrip volunteer to record the purchase in your student's name. Tell your friends and family to purchase using your student's name.
